[Rerun] Water bears in space

Tardigrades are microscopic animals, known also as water bears, that are considered indestructible when they enter a special state called 'cryptobiosis'. They may also be the only living organisms on the Moon if they survived a crash-landing of an Israeli Lunar Lander on its far side.

Science Journalist Jens Degett from Science Stories visited Nadja Møbjerg from the Department of Biology at the University of Copenhagen to understand what makes water bears able to survive total dehydration, extreme cooling and the empty space (in Danish).
