[Rerun] Economy and development

Although we do a great deal for the climate and the environment, it is worth remembering that global economic development does not take place in small bubbles, but the world is connected, and development in poor countries also has great significance for the economy, development, climate. and environment in a well-developed country like Denmark.

Science journalist Jens Degett talks to Professor Finn Tarp from the Department of Economics at the University of Copenhagen (in Danish) about research in development and whether it is mostly moral or an economic reason why we should help the poorest countries solve their development problems. Finn Tarp is former director of the UN Global Institute for Development Economics UNU-WIDER in Helsinki.
