[Rerun] Deliberative democracy

Democracy can be made to work much better than it does today. This is the opinion of Rune Slothuus, Professor of Political Science at University of Aarhus. He researches political attitude formation and, together with American colleagues, has demonstrated in experiments that people are suitable for democracy, just not the form that is usually practiced.

The podcast was produced in 2019, but it has become even more necessary to discuss how to improve democracy. Not least, in light of the ongoing United States Presidential election campaign.

Henrik Prætorius interviews Rune Slothus (in Danish) for Science Stories.
