Frankenstein creating life

Creation of life

Many scientists over the years have tried to create artificial life from dead materials. This is what is meant by 'Abiogenesis'.  The many different theories about how life originated.

At H.C. Ørsted Institute at the University of Copenhagen, there is a researcher who not only believes he has an explanation of how life has arisen, he is actually trying to show it by creating artificial life. The researcher is not called Frankenstein but Tue Hassenkam. And Tue does not work with dead people, but with self-collecting nano particles, which can create complex structures when they become wet, heated, cooled and dried out.
