Peder Worning has been working with science communication since 2009, specifically on bacteria and their impact on our health and disease. In 2014, he published a popular science book on bacteria on FADLs Forlag. He has used real-world stories to explain the natural sciences to lay people, using exciting narratives to capture the interest and imagery of everyday life. He holds lectures at conferences, auditoriums and hostels on DNA, evolution, science theory and bacteria. He is a trained physicist and biochemist and has since 2009 worked as a bacterial scientist at the Clinical Microbiology Department of Hvidovre Hospital.
