CIA’s psychological research has endangered people's lives

CIA (Central Intelligence Agency ), the US civilian foreign intelligence service, over time, has thrown many millions of dollars into dubious and sometimes fatal "scientific" experiments often performed on unsuspecting people. In this podcast, we delve into how the CIA has conducted sometimes dangerous life-threatening psychological experiments with unsuspecting, ordinary Americans. The aim has been to see if they could get people to reveal secrets or do "mind control", where you change the perception of right and wrong.

But according to Rolf Kuschel, Professor Emeritus at the Department of Psychology of Copenhagen University and member of the  Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters, not much new knowledge has come out of all the experiments that you can hear about in the podcast with science journalist Kristoffer Frøkjær.

You can find a link to  one of the trials mentioned ”inside the blackout box” here. Rolf Kuschel's book from 2017 can be found here.
